This letter is addressed to encourage you in making awareness and for getting from you a consistent act with the so necessary justice in our world, which is reign with inequality, indifference, selfishness and ambition: producers of untranslatable atrocities for a human being.
One of these atrocities has been committed on your own homeland, championed by forces that only bid for contradictions, deception and political manipulation, which have taken unfairly to five courageous Cubans to prison in your country, just for the simple fact that they penetrated into those organizations which carry along real terrorism against Cuba. These five heroes were defending the homeland.
You can stop the treacherous political maneuvering done by these same terrorist organizations that want to dictate the course of action to the United States government and manipulate the judicial process against Ramón Labañino, René González, Gerardo Hernández, Fernando González y Antonio Guerrero.
Cuba has never attacked to the people of the United States and will never do so, since it is neither part of our humans and political principles. We prefer to promote fair agreements and unconditionally.
I remember your written words to your little daughters: “And I want us to push our own human boundaries to reach beyond the divides of race and region, gender and religion that keep us from seeing the best in each other” (…)
"... that we try our best to settle our differences with others peacefully... "
Signing the pardon of these five men, who are unjustly imprisoned for over 10 years now, as a simple gesture to show the best of your commitment to justice and to break, peacefully, with the Cuban-American organizations that only proliferate useless belligerency against the Caribbean island: Cuba.

La misiva va dirigida a incentivarlo en la toma de consciencia y llegue de usted un acto consecuente con la justicia tan necesaria en nuestro mundo, el cual es reinado con la desigualdad, la indiferencia, el egoísmo y por ambiciones, todas generadoras de barbaridades intraducibles para un ser humano.
Una de esas barbaridades se ha cometido en su propio suelo, abanderado por fuerzas que solo pujan por las contradicciones, el engaño y el manejo político, las cuales han llevado injustamente a cinco valientes cubanos a las cárceles de su país; por el simple hecho de penetrar esas organizaciones que procrean el verdadero terrorismo hacia Cuba. Estos cinco héroes defendían la Patria.
Usted puede impedir que las pérfidas maniobras políticas de estas mismas organizaciones terroristas (que manipulan el proceso judicial contra Ramón Labañino, René González, Gerardo Hernández, Fernando González y Antonio Guerrero) sean quienes le dicten al gobierno el camino a tomar.
Cuba nunca ha agredido al pueblo de los Estados Unidos y nunca lo hará, ya que no es parte ni de nuestros principios humanos ni políticos. Preferimos fomentar el intercambio justo y sin condicionamientos, como pueblos hermanos.
Le recuerdo palabras escrita por usted a sus hijas: “Y yo quiero que podamos sobrepasar nuestras propias fronteras para que lleguemos más allá de la división de raza y territorio, género y religión que evita que veamos lo mejor de cada uno”
“... hagamos todo lo posible por arreglar nuestras diferencias con otros de manera pacífica...”
Firmar el indulto de estos cinco hombres, prisioneros injustamente por más de 10 años ya, es mostrar lo mejor de su compromiso con la justicia y así romper, de forma pacífica, con la beligerancia inútil que proliferan organizaciones cubanoamericanas contra la Isla caribeña: Cuba.
