Hace un año el mundo fue testigo de una espiral acelerada de
acontecimientos violentos por parte de los sectores reaccionarios de la
derecha venezolana, que perseguían forzar una ruptura del orden
constitucional en la hermana República Bolivariana de Venezuela. De esta
manera, pretendían desconocer la voluntad soberana y mayoritaria del
pueblo de acompañar el proceso revolucionario chavista y tratar, con sus
acciones de terror, de revertir los avances del gobierno de continuidad
encabezado por el Excelentísimo Señor Presidente Nicolás Maduro Moros.
El pasado 12 de febrero de 2015, que coincidió con el Día Nacional de
la Juventud y el 201 aniversario de la heroica Batalla de la Victoria,
se cumplió el primer año del inicio de aquellas acciones impulsadas por
el sector extremista de la oposición en el marco de la estrategia
denominada “La Salida”, las cuales tuvieron su expresión más violenta en
las llamadas “Guarimbas”, que causaron la muerte a 43 personas y
provocaron el elevado saldo de 878 lesionados.
La Organización de Solidaridad de los Pueblos de África, Asia y América
Latina (OSPAAAL) manifiesta una vez más su repudio a las maniobras e
intentos desestabilizadores de los sectores reaccionarios en sus planes
de golpe continuado contra el proceso bolivariano. Al propio tiempo,
respalda las acciones del gobierno venezolano encaminadas a investigar y
sancionar a los responsables de los hechos violentos que aún se
instrumentan. Nuestra organización, que ha seguido de cerca los más
recientes planes de intento de golpe de Estado contra el Presidente
Maduro, condena enérgicamente cualquier intento de atentado contra la
integridad física del legítimo Presidente y de cualquier otro de sus
funcionarios, así como el plan de ataque golpista contra instalaciones
gubernamentales y la sede del canal televisivo TELESUR, la voz de la
verdad de nuestros pueblos.
Venezuela enfrenta no solo una guerra económica, ideológica y
mediática; libra una lucha permanente por la paz que defiende la mayoría
del pueblo frente a los crímenes terroristas. Venezuela batalla por
seguir construyendo un proyecto de país para el bienestar de su gente,
humilde y trabajadora, que sabrá imponerse una vez más a la burguesía
transnacional parasitaria que intenta, en contubernio con intereses del
imperio norteamericano y de otros aliados, apoderarse de los recursos,
de los beneficios que en el pasado obtenían del sudor de la masa
trabajadora y explotada, y que hoy son la base de los programas y
misiones sociales de la Revolución.
Hoy, la mayoría del pueblo, incluyendo a la juventud venezolana que
desafía la lluvia en las calles, sigue movilizado en las comunidades, en
las universidades, en los liceos, defendiendo la Patria que les legó el
Eterno Comandante Hugo Chávez Frías, el gran símbolo que sigue
desafiando a la lluvia y al imperialismo. El pueblo unido y sus jóvenes
son los garantes de la libertad, de la soberanía de la Patria de Bolívar
y Chávez, del fortalecimiento y avance del modelo de justicia social
impulsado durante los últimos 16 años.
La OSPAAAL le reafirma el compromiso, querido Presidente Maduro, de que
podrá contar con la solidaridad tricontinental en esta etapa difícil
por la que atraviesa Venezuela. La paz y la razón se impondrán al odio y
los planes desestabilizadores de la derecha fascista que tratan de
enlutar al pueblo bolivariano, bastión de su futuro y de los destinos de
la Patria Grande.
¡Los pueblos del mundo, junto a Venezuela en lucha y resistencia,
haremos que el odio, la conspiración y la mentira de la derecha fascista
e imperialista se estrellen contra la defensa de la paz, la verdad, la
razón y la vida de ese pueblo hermano que, junto a su Presidente eterno,
escaló el punto más alto de la dignidad nacional que cobija y atesora
el Cuartel de la Montaña!

MESSAGE FROM OSPAAAL IN SUPPORT TO
THE BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION AND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE VICTIMS OF THE
GUARIMBA (REVOLTS) AND CONTINUOUS COUP IN VENEZUELA
A year ago, the world witnessed an accelerated spiral of violent events
on the part of the reactionary sectors of the Venezuelan right, which
attempted to cause a rupture of the constitutional order in the
brotherly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. In this way they pretended
to ignore the sovereign and majority will of the people to accompany
Chavez’s revolutionary process and with their terror actions tried to
revert the advances of the continuity government headed by President
NIcolás Maduro Moros.
Last February 12 --coinciding with the National Day of Youth and the
201st anniversary of the heroic Battle of Victory-- was the first
anniversary of the beginning of those actions promoted by the extremist
sector of the opposition, as part of the strategy called “La Salida”
(The Exit), whose most violent expression were the so-called guarimbas
that caused the death of 43 persons and the high number of 878 injured.
The Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin
America (OSPAAAL) once more expresses its rejection to the maneuvers
and destabilizing attempts of the reactionary sectors in their plans of
continuous coup against the Bolivarian process. At the same time, it
supports the actions of the Venezuelan government aimed at investigating
and sanctioning the authors of the violent actions that are still
taking place.
Our organization, which has closely followed the most recent plans of
an attempt of coup d’état against President Maduro, strongly condemns
any attempt against the physical integrity of the legitimate President
or any other of his officers, as well as the plan of attacking
governmental enclaves and the headquarters of the TV channel Telesur,
the voice of our peoples’ truth.
Venezuela faces not only an economic, ideological and media war; it
also wages a permanent struggle in favor of the peace defended by the
majority of the people in the face of the terrorist crimes. Venezuela
struggles to continue building a national project for the welfare of its
humble and working people, who will succeed in imposing themselves once
more against the transnational bloodsucking bourgeoisie that attempts,
in complicity with interests of the United States empire and other
allies, to seize the resources and benefits it obtained in the past from
the efforts of the working and exploited masses, and which today are
the base of the programs and social missions of the Revolution.
Today, the majority of the people, including the Venezuelan youth that
defies the rain in the streets, keeps mobilized in the communities, in
the universities, in the high schools, defending the Fatherland left to
them by the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, the great symbol who
keeps defying the rain and imperialism. The united people and its youth
are the guarantee of freedom, of the sovereignty of the Fatherland of
Bolívar and Chávez, of the strengthening and advance of the model of
social justice forwarded during the last 16 years.
OSPAAAL confirms you, dear President Maduro, its commitment that you
will always have the tricontinental solidarity in this difficult period
that Venezuela is going through. Peace and reason will defeat the hatred
and the destabilizing plans of the fascist right that are trying to
bring mourning to the Bolivarian people, stronghold of the future and
destiny of the Great Fatherland.
The peoples of the world, side by side with Venezuela in its struggle
and resistance, will make the hatred, conspiracy and lies of the fascist
and imperialist right crash against the defense of peace, truth, reason
and life of that brotherly people that with their eternal President,
reached the highest point of national dignity sheltered and treasured by
the Cuartel de la Montaña!
Glory to the brave people!
